Mission and History

Our mission, as a professional healthcare team, is to provide high quality care to our diverse adult community through education, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

We are committed to doing this with compassion, respect and confidentiality.
 

Our History, in 1973, Dr. Lavelle opened this adult cardiology practice which later became known as Cascade Heart in 1980.  At that time the practice included general cardiology in the office as well as invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterization and pacemaker insertions in the hospital setting. 

Our practice continues to grow and we now are able to offer non-invasive diagnostic modalities in our present office setting.  This includes treadmills, resting and stress echocardiograms, carotid and abdominal ultrasounds, and nuclear diagnostic studies such as thallium and pharmacologic studies.  Our continued efforts to expand services to the community with updated technology have allowed us to attract excellent physicians to the practice.  We currently have 9 cardiologist and 2 physician assistants.
